SIX-UNIT TOWNHOUSE DEVELOPMENT IN BLACKBURN, MELBOURNE
This 6-unit townhouse development was built for our investor-developer client in a well-established, leafy suburb of Blackburn.
Designed as a long-term investment, this project benefits from Blackburn excellent public transport infrastructure, proximity to Box Hill Hospital, private and public schools, as well as walking distance to Box Hill dinning, shopping and entertainment precinct. All these factors create excellent employment opportunities in project’s vicinity, and drive a strong demand for rental properties in the area.
Project’s one-minute walk to Laburnum Station introduced challenges such as narrow streets, 2-hour parking limitations and limited access – this called for clever logistics and impeccable site scheduling of trades and deliveries.
Built on a slope, with level changes in places up to 1 meter between the units, required intermediate retaining walls between townhouses.
